Correct specification of addresses in the invoice* | The Ministry of Finance clarifies that the addresses of the taxpayer and the purchaser in an invoice may be stated with abbreviations, uppercase and lowercase letters, and a change of word order in the street name unless this prevents the tax authorities from identifying the sellers and the buyers of goods. (Letter of the Ministry of Finance of January 17, 2018 N 03-07-09 / 1846).
*It refers to the form of invoice required by law in Russia, which must be duly completed for VAT purposes within a prescribed period.
| | | | | 2. Exemption from VAT of services of foreign companies for providing access to information materials
| Providing online access to information materials such as databases and computer applications is subject to VAT (paragraph 2 of paragraph 1 of Article 174.2 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation). If the above services are provided under a license agreement, they are exempted from VAT (Letter No. 03-07-08 / 87817 of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation of December 28, 2017).

Changes in currency control | As of March 1, 2018, modified currency control rules will apply regarding the notification requirements: the registration of transaction passports (Russian - "Passport Sdelki") will not be necessary and only foreign trade contracts will have to be registered.
